Let’s tell you a little more about us. The site was originally part of the Isle of Wight Lavender farm, the 4 large lakes are man made creations. We purchased the land in July 2020. It then took a few years to get planning permission and start the build.

Now we are creating a micro retreat currently offering 5 lovingly created lodges. All unique and deeply personal, intimate and fun spaces all with private gardens on the waters edge. Although we may feel a million miles away from everything, we are right at the heart of the Island. Making us  perfectly positioned to reach everyone of the Islands beautiful beaches. Along with  stunning walks, historic buildings, trendy restaurants and the sailing mecca, Cowes.

What’s Our Background?…

Previously we had a building company for 25 years building & refurbishing homes. Before that I worked in the luxury travel market.  We moved our family from Essex in 2013 to the Island as we wanted to raise our sons in a relaxed environment. We all love to build, make and create things and are a fantastic team and as our sons get older we wanted to build a new business, so Four Lakes Retreat was born.

Identifying and naming the lodges proved to be a tricky decision for us, we debated birds, places, boat wreaks around the island but nothing floated our boat! So we decided to keep it simple,  as I consider the lodges my babies and being slightly vain I named them after me (Inez). Doing this will enable me to tell guests that you are IN One, IN Two and so on and as you are affectively staying with our family, we will be on hand to ensure each guest has the best possible stay and makes wonderful memories.
